No. Please wait to sign the document in front of the notary. We’re legally required to witness your signature during the appointment unless the document states otherwise. If it’s already signed, we may need to reschedule or prepare a new copy.
We accept valid, government-issued photo identification such as a Florida driver’s license, U.S. passport, or state-issued ID. The ID must be current or issued within the past 5 years (if expired). No photos or copies of ID are allowed.
Yes, we can provide witnesses for an additional fee with advance notice. Many documents—like wills and medical directives—require two witnesses who are not related to the signer or named in the document. We’re happy to help coordinate that for you.

Florida law requires a valid, government-issued photo ID. If your ID is expired but was issued within the last 5 years, it may still be accepted. Otherwise, you’ll need an acceptable secondary form of ID or a credible witness. Call us in advance so we can guide you.
Yes, we can notarize documents written in another language as long as the notarial certificate and communication with the signer are in English. The signer must also understand what they’re signing. We also offer bilingual services in English and Haitian Creole.
No. As notaries, we are not allowed to provide legal advice or prepare documents unless we are also licensed attorneys. You’ll need to have your documents completed and ready for notarization. If you need help, we can refer you to a trusted legal professional.
If your document doesn’t include a notarial certificate (like an acknowledgment or jurat), we’ll ask you what type of notarization you need. If you're unsure, we’ll explain the difference, but you must make the final decision or consult with the document issuer or an attorney.
